We haven't seen any new businesses for a long time. It would be nice for new businesses to be added to the game with various income boosts.

I agree with this. Maybe even some location specific businesses. For example, in Russia, you could buy businesses based around oil and petroleum products, gas, coal, steel, and other resources that are associated with Russia. In Australia, you could buy businesses related to iron, gold, aluminum, agriculture (e.g., fishing), and tourism. In the U.K., oil rigs, mining, hotels, tourism, manufacturing, electricity, etc. Basically, some region-specific businesses that are associated with given regions in real life.
