Downtown Mafia gives you two ways to start over — Reset Account or Erase Account. Each option has different effects on what you keep and what you lose.
Reset Account
Use this option if you want to start fresh but keep your premium progress.
Costs 500 Diamonds
Keeps your Diamonds, Diamond Units, and Mercenaries
Removes levels, XP, skill points, and regular inventory
Deletes Boss Mercs, tournament rewards, and casino chips
You must leave your gang before resetting
This option is ideal if you want to restart your gameplay strategy while keeping your premium items.
Erase Account
This is the free full reset option.
Costs 0 Diamonds
Removes everything, including Diamonds, weapons, and Mercs
Deletes Boss Mercs, tournament rewards, and all progress
You must leave your gang before using this option
Choose Erase Account only if you want to completely restart your journey with nothing carried over.
How to Reset or Erase
Go to Profile → Edit → Account Options and select either Reset Account or Erase Account. Confirm your choice carefully — both actions are permanent and cannot be undone.
